Halftime Speech - Jaguars v Chiefs

JT: As if I were in the locker room giving the team a talk myself

Offense: I’ve literally got nothing to say. One hell of a 27 second drill by the Jags offense. If I had anything to say it would be run the ball more. When we run ETN it works. Even D.J. got into the mix with a decent gain. If this game weren’t such a defensive battle I’d have some different thoughts, but I’m on board with a slow pound and ground game. We were doing it well at the end of the half and then we got too cutesy with the Kirk to Etienne double pass for a loss. Running was working. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

Defense: I’ve got nothing. I am in love with Mike Caldwell. Keep doing what you’re doing. My only complaint is that we can’t seem to get to Mahomes. We are always just a step late. Do we blitz more? I’d say keep everything exactly the same. What DC MC is calling is working unbelievably well. Keep it up. Nobody saw a 7-6 score at halftime. Nobody.

Special Teams: I mean Logan Cooke. Need I say more. Best punter in the league. McManus is coming through for us and of course Jamal Agnew is, well, Jamal Agnew.

Coaches: Press Taylor is calling a good one (is he though?). There have been times when I saw Calvin Ridley one on one and their defender is playing up on him. Prime time for a home run swing when you see that. Go Jags..
