Jaguars vs Chargers: Halftime Speech

JT: Written during halftime, as if Dougie P. invited JaguarsTalk into the locker room

To the Offense: Umm…I think we had more completions than INTs, so there’s that. Maybe we can build some momentum from that end of the half touchdown??? Trevor hasn’t had it all game. He’s forcing things. Let’s switch to short passes and play the dink and dunk game from now on. And run the ball, LAC has a horrible run defense. Play call like we can use all four downs every time and you’ll be surprised how often you get there in three.

To the Defense: Umm… I mean… Trevor certainly isn’t helping your cause… at all. I don’t necessarily think you are playing badly. There have been a few very open receivers a critical points but you’ve also held them to field goals when they easily could have put up 7. They are going to have to shut them out in the second half for us to have any shot at all.

To the Special Teams: Umm…well, ain’t a whole lot of special going on. We are using our heads when we don’t want to be. Agnew is playing well but I think this is the first game where I’ve seen Logan Cooke punt like a regular human.

Clean it up in all aspects of the game. This is the playoffs, you don’t move on unless you play a complete game from here on out. No room for error in the playoffs, especially the AFC.
